Day Tweny Three

Sometimes... Some Days!!!

The world offers but a simple BlogSPOT screen.

Day Twenty Two

Braedyn...

How old are You?

Day Twenty One

A Royal Throne and A GREAT big Smile...

This has been my day!

Day Twenty

All day, EVERY day I hear the pitter pat - nay - thumpity thump
of the cutest feet in the world.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of them after he fell asleep at night.  They look so peaceful!!!!

Day Nineteen

I never met my Mother-in-Law (Unfortunately!)
Mary Alder, but she was a great baker I hear.

Her Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies has become my favorite cookie to make.

Day Eighteen

After having your tailbone removed, there are moments when you just want to sit....  seriously sit, not just the kind of sitting that I have been doing.  (Cheekin' it)

Today is the first day that I can sit on this hard wood chair,
without a donut shaped pillow...

Well, for ten minutes anyway.
Baby Steps, or should I say..  SITS!!!

Day Seventeen

Today is Monday, therefore Family Night....
And what a better thing to do together than to play
FAMILY GAME NIGHT
as a Family.

The game of choice tonight was LIFE

Here are a few images of the fun!

This was Braedyn's little Car.... his Favorite color, blue.

The Whole Family in Retirement!

The final Scores.... boy, I wish that money was real!!!

Day Sixteen

Modern Medicine is a Modern Miracle,
 and so are these...

In appropriate Moderation of course!!!

Day Fifteen

When it is so VERY cold,
this is really the BEST thing
for EXTREMELY dry skin...

And besides that, it's cute!!!

Day Fourteen

I think I have a little Post Surgery Depression/Anxiety...  Actually, I know I do.  I have been feeling a little sorry for myself because I can't sit long enough to get the things done that I really want to do.  True, I am getting better but my inner soul needs a little more to do than lying around and... stuff.

It felt so nice shopping yesterday in Salt Lake, even though it completely wore me out and today I have been paying for all the walking and the 4 plus hours of sitting in the car.  It was re-newing to my soul, but tough on my body.

My activity today was to bring a little "bright" into the house.
Behold...  our Stained Glass Heart Window Garland.

Love is in the air!!!

Day Thirteen

Today has been another long day...  Actually, it's 12:40 a.m. on the Fourteenth day of this project, but none the less,  I was beginning to wonder if it would end - BUT, what a GREAT ending to this day.
(All that in one Breath)

We took a two hour drive to West Jordan, Ut. to have four stitches removed from the previous weeks surgery to remove my Severely Broken (Dangling actually) Tailbone.   If you have been following this blog, you may have already gathered that much information.   Regardless of the Drive and the POLLUTION and the Traffic...  The day ended with a Bang, or should I say a
Sudsin' and a Scrubbin' and a Rinsin!!!

Since I have vowed, at least to myself, that this Blog shall not exceed a PG-13 rated,
this is the best I can do.

Day Twelve

I have been craving something sweet...
so this was on the Agenda.

It's a kin to an Apple Cobbler...  DELISH!!!

Day Eleven

This day started out a little cold....
Our Electricity was out for FOUR hours and our house plummeted into the cold zone.

I am so grateful that the previous owner of our house had the foresight to put in a fireplace.
Our house went from Freezin' to Blazin'.

Have you kissed your furnace today?

Day Nine & Day Ten

This is a two day ENTRY...

On our way to bed last night (Day Nine) I noticed how "burr"eeto it was outside...
so logical to take a picture, right?

And then...  Dave showed me how "burr" eeto it  was this morning at 6:43 a.m.
So, logical to take a picture, right?

I think the picture speaks for itself.

Day Four

One of the Advantages of living HERE, is that when it gets foggy at night.... you wake up to this.

Can anyone seriously question that our Heavenly Father exists?

Day Three

It's a wonderful day when a  Great Big WHITE Truck backs into your driveway, and today was no exception.

Meet the newest additions to our Household....
  YIPPEE!!!

Day Two

Not only is today Sunday, but it is Fast Sunday.  When I was younger, I thought that meant the meetings would go faster....  Much to my shagrin at that time... they didn't.   Being MUCH older now, I understand the full implication of this day.

I take this opportunity to Bare my  Testimony to you that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is the only true Church on this earth.  I know that my Savior died for me so that I may return to my Heavenly Father's presence someday.

My photo today...  are my Scriptures lying open to Alma - Chapter 40.  If you haven't read this Wonderful Book, I highly recommend it.

Day One

It is -10 degrees outside and Beautiful.
This is the site that met my eyes as I climbed the Stairs out of the basement this afternoon.

A New Year... A New Endeavor!

Today is the very first day of a Brand New Year and I have been doing what a lot of people do at this time of year, pondering the past year and dreaming up Resolutions and Goals that can be made for the year to come.  I have set a few internal goals, but the one that I am expressing here to you on this very first day of the year is Tangible.

As the title of this Blog indicates...  I will be sharing Pieces and Parts of my everyday life, in the form of Photography... and possible a few side notes along the way.  My Goal, as I am stating loud and clear, will be to take at least one picture every day of what I observe around me.  It will be a Journey in my Shoes!!!!

As this year creeps by, 24 hours at a time...  please join me in a whirlwind of living, laughing... and who knows what else.
